About me
Hi, I’m Kori, the artist behind Rural Route Art — where every brushstroke tells a story. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. From the moment I picked up my first crayon as a child, I was hooked. I won awards in my youth and got my B. S. Degree in Design at La Roche University. Over the years, that love of creating grew into a passion for capturing the beauty of everyday life — the quiet charm of small towns, the warmth of a sunset over a field, the wag of a beloved dog’s tail, and the little moments that make life feel like home.
My approach
I work primarily with watercolor and acrylic, painting portraits of pets, people, and places that mean the most to my collectors. Each piece is crafted with care, attention to detail, and a deep sense of storytelling. My goal is to create art that feels personal and nostalgic — the kind that brings a smile to your face every time you see it on your wall. I live and create in Pennsylvania, where small-town charm and wide-open spaces continue to inspire my work. When I’m not painting, you can often find me exploring rural roads, enjoying the quiet beauty of nature, or sketching new ideas for future pieces. Every commission I take on is special to me. Whether it’s a pet portrait, a family home, or a meaningful moment, I want my collectors to feel the love and intention behind every stroke of the brush. Art isn’t just something I make — it’s a way of preserving memories and sharing joy. Thank you for stopping by and supporting my creative journey. I can’t wait to create something beautiful and meaningful just for you.
